Stay Home & Stay Safe

In the past month, we have seen a tremendous strain on the grocery/supermarket industry as a whole as members of the public rush to stock up and (in many cases) clean out the shelves as they anticipate a long and tough lockdown in the weeks and possibly months ahead. We have seen this before in 2020; panicked shoppers stocking up on items and causing shortages in supply for many items that are normally available for everybody, despite the restrictions.

As evidenced by many of the images we’ve seen in the media, this also brings about another problem, which is the risk of possible exposure to the increased risk of possible infections due to the interactions of masses pouring into these outlets. We’ve also heard cases of supermarkets having to close temporarily as they too have to deal with internal staff unwittingly being infected by Covid-19 due to this situation.

We Are Working at Improving How We Serve You Everyday

Hello 🙂

During the Movement Control Order, we have worked tirelessly to support and meet as many of the grocery and daily essentials needs of our customers as we could. This has resulted in MyGroser being able to consistently stay open, delivering everyday throughout the MCO to date. We do this as we worked to support the needs of our customers and to support you.

Despite our best efforts however, we have seen some orders being sent out without their complete list of items. For this, we apologise.

A quick note of thanks from us

It’s been a strange week for all of us and I am grateful to you for being kind and understanding to our teams as we work to get your groceries to you. To our teams who are working with limited supplies, resources and inventory to reach as many of you as we can. To our partners and suppliers who are doing their best everyday. To everyone for staying calm, staying kind, and staying home.

Most of all, our hearts and thoughts go out to all the people who have been affected by this, and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this situation.

We all live here in Malaysia. Together, we will be good. For now, my team and I are here to help. Be safe, stay home and let us all hope for a swift resolution and triumph over the worst parts of this global pandemic.
